Mincho Benov

Mincho Benov – National Director of Habitat Bulgaria since January 2011.

Mincho Benov has worked in the fields of the capital market, financial sector and international development as an Executive Director of Sofia Stock Exchange, Director Financial Sector and Capital Markets at the US FLAG Consortium and as a consultant of the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Since 2005 to 2010, Mincho Benov managed a residential energy efficiency credit facility implemented through six major Bulgarian commercial banks, funded by a €50 million credit line of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and a €10 million grant component, funded by Kozloduy International Decommissioning Support Fund. Mincho Benov has managed and consulted various investment projects, incl. projects funded by EU pre-accession and structural funds.
Since 2011 runs Habitat for Humanity Bulgaria as a National Director of the organization.


Assya Dobrudzhalieva

Assya Dobrudzhalieva – Project Manager at Habitat Bulgaria since August 2010.

Main responsibilities:
Development and implementation of projects for improvement of housing conditions in Bulgaria, such as needs research and assessment of measures; social housing for vulnerable groups; improving energy efficiency of residential buildings; Development of analyzes and evaluations of strategic, programing and regulatory documents in the field of housing policies; Coordinating the work of the Coalition Decent Home; Development of partnerships with institutions, municipalities, NGOs, universities for advocacy to provide adequate housing for socially disadvantaged and minority groups; Organizing national and local forums on housing problems and possible solutions; Development of training materials, conducting trainings and information campaigns to improve housing conditions and energy efficiency; Team management, control and monitoring of project and contract implementation.

Boryana Parvanova

Boryana Parvanova – Project Manager at Habitat Bulgaria since July 2007.

Main responsibilities:
Development and implementation of projects for improvement of the living conditions in Bulgaria, mainly focused on vulnerable groups. Initiation and development of new partnerships; Development of life-skills training materials and workshops for low-income and vulnerable groups; Management and monitoring of project implementation.

Denitsa Ilieva

Denitsa Ilieva – Resource Development, Communications & Volunteer Coordinator at Habitat Bulgaria since 2011.

Main responsibilities:
Building and raising Habitat Bulgaria’s brand awareness, building and maintaining relationships with donors, subcontractors and the media, organizing special events, developing print, audio and visual information and advertising materials; Working with local and international volunteer groups hosted by the organization.

Lyudmila Todorova

Lyudmila Todorova – Accountant at Habitat Bulgaria since April 2020.

Main responsibilities:
Provide all kind of activities related to the financial and accounting processes of the organization, prepare turnover sheets and statements. Generate quarterly, annual and other reports. Prepare statistical forms, participate in inventory committees, etc. Establish organizational relationships and contacts with representatives of banks, financial and other institutions.
